Meet Phoenix. Brisbane, from Tuesday 6 October.
Brisbane, if this sounds familiar: another waitlist. Another building. Another appointment that never talks to the last one. Skills that work in the clinic room and fall apart at home, at school or at work. Phoenix Seu, occupational therapist, joins our team on Tuesday 6 October and begins seeing Brisbane children, young people and adults the week after: at home, at school, at work and in the community, wherever life actually happens. Sensory and regulation, daily living, school and work, community access, with home and living assessments, assistive technology and complex assessments led by our senior team. The waitlist is open now, and it fills in order.
The things that make up a life, worked on where they happen.
Occupational therapy is about doing the things that matter in your actual life. Here is the ground Phoenix covers, for children, young people and adults.
Join Phoenix's waitlistRegulation before performance. The real environment over the clinic.
Goals you help write, never handed down. One coordinated team, so you are not the case manager. Neurodivergence-affirming as standard: we change barriers, not people.
Regulation first
A dysregulated person cannot learn, so co-regulation is always the first job. Sensory accommodations are clinical, not optional.
Where your feet are
Home, school, the park, the pool, or telehealth. A skill that works in a clinic room but not at the shops is not finished yet.
Goals built with you
Functional goals in your own words, tied to the week you actually live, never handed down from a referral.
One team, one plan
Every clinician here is a trained Key Worker. Speech and occupational therapy are not siloed, so you are not managing seven separate experts.
Difference, not deficit
No goals aimed at suppressing stimming or making anyone look more normal. We change barriers, not people.
We will always find a way
If the usual path does not fit, we turn left. That is how we are wired, because we are neurodivergent too.
A queue, not a booking. And a real person at the end of it.
Joining the list is not a booking. It is a queue, and it fills in order. When it is your turn, a real person calls to talk through what you are looking for. No pressure, and nothing to sign up for on the call.
In person across Brisbane, and Australia-wide by telehealth.
Our team also works face to face on the Gold Coast and in Northern New South Wales. Sessions happen at home, at school, in the community and in workplaces, wherever the goal needs practising.
Brisbane, in person
Phoenix's home patch from Tuesday 6 October: home, school, work and community visits across Brisbane.
Telehealth, Australia-wide
For people outside Brisbane, or when a screen is the easier room to be in.
How NDIS funding works for occupational therapy.
We will always be straight with you about funding, and we help you understand your plan in plain language.
NDIS funding may cover occupational therapy where it aligns with the participant's goals and approved plan. Not all NDIS plans include occupational therapy supports.
We never charge you to help you understand the NDIS. Sessions are billed in line with the NDIS price guide, and we confirm current rates with you in writing before any work begins.
